Wings Over America is a very quick review, but a properly lengthy listen. I dare you to find a better live album than this one. Wings Over America has to be top ten. It just has to be. Paul McCartney and Wings are top-tier entertainers and live performers who put together one of the greatest shows of their time. McCartney is an absolute showman who brings cracking, thumping, stadium-rock energy to every table and never falls short. The mix on Wings Over America captures Paul’s bass playing beautifully. He is ALL OVER that bass guitar, and it’s such a joy to listen to and experience. Also, it’s always nice to hear some Beatles throwbacks.
