For Artists

Submit & Services

Two ways to work with the Warewolf. Send your music in for a real listen, or get a hand telling your story. They're totally separate things, and one never has anything to do with the other.

Always free. Reviews and playlist spots aren't for sale here, no pay-for-play, nothing sponsored. If the Warewolf covers you, it's because the music earned it. I read everything that comes in myself, because overthinking music is the whole point.

Send the Warewolf your music

Independent bands, DIY producers, bedroom artists, the underrated and the unheard. If you're making something real, I want my ears on it. And tell me the story behind it, because that matters to me as much as the song does.

No big structured form here, just email me and tell me about your music however feels right.

If you want a little direction, here's what helps:
  • Who you are  ·  name, where you're from
  • What you're sending  ·  the song or project, plus a link, a file, whatever you've got
  • The story  ·  the inspiration, the context, the mess behind it, all of it

Released, unreleased, polished, or a rough mix straight from the session, send it all. A streaming link or an audio file both work. Nothing's too early or too scrappy for me to hear.

One friendly heads-up: this side is just writing help, bios, pitches, press kits. It's a totally separate thing from reviews, which are always free and always based on the music alone. Here, I'm just helping you sound as good on paper as you do on record.

Words that do your music justice

Writing about yourself is hard, and a little mortifying. So let the guy who overthinks music for a living do it for you. Every word comes from someone who actually sits down and listens to your song, not a template, and not a generator that's never heard a note of it. Clear, sharp, ready-to-use copy written from the other side of the desk, the kind that makes a curator, editor, or booking agent actually stop and read.

Why it's worth it

Before & after

Same artist, same music. The difference is in the words.

And the words are the easy part. The real work is knowing which ones a curator actually responds to, and hearing your music clearly enough to pick them. That's an ear you build over hundreds of reviews, not something you paste out of a template.

The bio  ·  what a Bio Overhaul does
The DIY draft "hey im marcus i make indie bedroom pop in my room in austin tx. ive been making music since i was like 15 and i just released a new song i hope u like it lol its kinda chill vibes"
The overhaul Marcus Vale makes bedroom pop with the lights low and the reverb high, warm, unhurried songs that land somewhere between Dayglow's sun-bleached hooks and Rex Orange County's diaristic ache. He taught himself to produce in a bedroom that doubled as a studio, and you can still hear that closeness in every track: intimate vocals, live guitars, the hum of the room. After years of quietly sharpening his sound, his latest single is his most assured yet, homemade in the best way, but reaching for something widescreen...

A sample excerpt. Your full Bio Overhaul runs 200–250 words, plus the short version and your "For Fans Of" tags.

The pitch  ·  what a Release Pitch Kit does
The DIY draft "new single coming out soon!! its called [title], really proud of this one. its got a chill vibe but also kind of sad?? pls consider for a playlist that would mean so much. lmk what you think!"
The pitch Marcus Vale's most assured single yet, warm bedroom pop that drifts between Dayglow's sun-bleached hooks and Rex Orange County's diaristic ache. Self-produced in Austin at 92 BPM, live guitars over hazy synths, a chorus that lifts right when you need it. Coming off 40% monthly listener growth and fresh indie-playlist adds...
